Hello,My question is about NEETMDS.If my score is very less than cutoff do I have a chance to get admission in MDS somewhere? I got only 100 marks unfortunately

darshita 12th Jan, 2021

Hello,

The qualifying percentile for the general category for NEET MDS 2021 is 50th percentile with a score of 259 and for SC, ST and OBC category it is 40th percentile with 227 marks.

Candidates belonging to PwD category should have secure a score of 243 marks with 45th percentile.

NEET MDS cut off 2021 is released by the National Board of Examinations (NBE) along with the NEET MDS 2021 result on December 31, 2021.

You can not get admission in any government colleges according to the cut off.

You must score more than cut-off marks in NEET exams to be eligible to apply for management quota in private medical colleges and deemed medical universities.

As you have voter id card of MP then you are eligible for the MDS state quota of MP. You have to submit a residential proof for MP at the time of document verification. You have to carry these documents at the time of admission.

i got 5894 MDS rank . i belong to OBC category. what are my chances of getting govt seat in AIQ counselling. should i opt for AIQ counselling or punjab state counselling or both ?

Abhishek Roy 6th Jan, 2021

I believe with an AIR of 5894 in NEET MDS 2021, in spite of being from the OBC Category you have bleak chances  in securing a seat in any Government or State Medical College. I would however suggest you to keep hope and apply for both the AIQ and Punjab State Counsellings.

Besides, Goverment Dental Colleges, there are many good private dental institutes under deemed universities or leading private universities having excellent infrastructure, faculty and training facilities. You may consider them in your plans subject to your monetary and financial security.
