i got 4633 air in neet mds 2021,what are my chances of getting mds seat

S. Abhishek Sagar 1st Jan, 2021

Hello aspirant.

For securing rank 4633  in NEET MDS, considering you under the open category, and not a physically handicapped aspirant. You have a touch chance to get a seat in NEET MDS All India counseling. Also, you have a touch chance to get a seat in NEET MDS Central Universities counseling. But you have a good chance to get a seat in NEET MDS Deemed universities counseling under management quota in the following colleges.

  • JSS Dental College and Hospital, Mysore
  • Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar
  • Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences, Bhubaneswar
  • AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences, Mangalore
  • Sri Ramachandra Dental College and Hospital, Chennai
  • Sharad Pawar Dental College, Wardha
  • Rural Dental College, Loni
  • KLE VK Institute of Dental Sciences, Belgaum
  • Sri Siddhartha Dental College, Tumkur
  • Indira Gandhi Institute of Dental Sciences, Pillaiyarkuppam
  • And many more colleges.

will the candidates who got less than 100 score can get mds seat

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 1st Jan, 2021

Hi

You have tagged neet-mds in your question so I am guessing that your question is in regarding with Neet MDS particularly.

With just only 100 marks in your Neet MDS examination you cannot get admission for MDS in any college.

This is because,

With 100 marks you have failed to qualify Neet MDS entrance examination as cut off marks for different categories in NEET MDS is :-

Category    cutoff percentile   cutoff marks

General/ews       50                      259

UR/ews-PWD            45                      243

Obc/Sc/st               40                      227

SC/ST/OBC - PH     40                   227

So,
With 100 marks irrespective of the category you belong to , you have failed to qualify Neet MDS examination and thus cannot get admission in MDS.

You can check the same at our page the link for the which is provided below

Hello Sir/Mam.Iam going to complete my post graduation in dentistry (MDS) in 5 months. Will I be eligible to write NEET and pursue MBBS? Are there any rules or regulations regarding it?

ginnisachdeva02_9364270 Student Expert 28th Dec, 2020

Hey!

As you are doIng masters in dental surgery, so lets assume your age to be 25 or 26, (5 years BDS and 2/3 years MDS), so 18+5+2or 3 = 25 or 26.

And as per the NEET eligibility criteria, candidates must be of atleast 17 years to write NEET exam . And there is no upper limit to write NEET exam, as the decision is still pending on upper limit by the supreme court. So , yes you can write NEET.

if a person has given supplimentary exam over and again, does the chances reduces as many supplies come or it just depends on the obtainted score in MDS and not related to supplimentary in BDS.

sharondevan05 5th Jun, 2021

Hello Kunika,.

Until you complete your supplementary assessment, you'll have an interim result (NS grade). An interim result does not satisfy unit prerequisites and could prevent you from enrolling in some units. If this happens, check your enrolment carefully

I'll give you a practical answer rather than boosting your moral with psychological boosts..

Lets assume you complete your bds with 2 backs in each year.. You complete your graduation a year later than the rest of your batchmates. . Now what..

You either apply for govt job. . Which is cleared by written paper (no attempt certificate required)

You apply for job at private clinic.. Contacts work here, and with such low salary, they don't even verify your degree

You open private clinic yourself. .

You do mds.. An entirely new set of documents required. With examination for govt clg entrance, money for private clg.

You leave your field, and persue something else... Yes, here it might be of certain importance as per aggregate and cut offs. .

You apply for army dental corps. . Again aggregate andcarefully

Sessionals exams have no effect on ur carrier as a dentist. The only way Sessionals exams effect are in form of your internal marks. In your bds curriculum the most important exams are the university exam at the end of term, the marks of sessional exams are used to just give you internal marks which may have a effect on your final exam results. That's it. It doesn't and will not effect your career and in today's scenario no one even bats an eye on your university exam marks let alone Sessionals. I have not cleared even single of the Sessionals exams throughout my bds even though it severely effected my internals but I somehow used to manage and clear my universities. I didn't even have a single paper carry or let alone any back log.

Don't take too much stress for Sessionals but I would say it is important you study for them or else you will have to face a lot of burden at the end of the year. If you study and prepare well for sessional exams then cracking universities become much easier.

Hope this helps.                                                                                                                                                                                     ALL THE BEST.

MCA /// MBA/PGDM /// MDS/MBBS /// MTECH/MS !!! WHICH IS MORE VALUABLE IN SOCIETY ????

Aditi amrendra Student Expert 20th Dec, 2020
Hello,

See, first understand this thing that any human being who does good works, respect others, help others, has sympathy and empathy towards others and who stays away from wrong things in the person who is respected by everyone in the society.
Now, since you asked for a reputed job then all the courses you have mentioned can help you to get a good job.I would give slight advantage to MBBS, because with that you will become a doctor and a doctor is considered as God.But in the end you must not consider these things for choosing a career. You should choose what you really want to become, where your interest is.If you want to become a doctor then MBBS is good but if you want to be and engineer, you must not think about anything and just go for B.tech..Its all upto you and what you want to become.
