During your gate preparation your subjects will be just same as that of mechanical engineering but during paper you will write the subject code as MN which shows specialization or MTECH in mining .

Masters in Technology is a 2 year post graduate degree. The Admission to Mtech is done through GATE exam which is a National level Entrance test. You can also write state level Entrance test to pursue Mtech course. One cannot do Mtech after BSc. The basic eligibility criteria is one must have done graduation in technical i,e Btech.

yes you can get for sure.Your rank is 60 then your expected mark is 51.Chances are there still and in addition to it if you have some kind of categorical reservation then that would be more helpful.
You can apply for CEG,MIT,AC Tech campus. They are the top colleges for ME in engneering.
