Sorry to say Karthikeya ,but the date of online application (VITMEE) for applying in M.tech in vit has been closed now.You may apply to other colleges or try next year.Elgibilty criteria is to have 70% minimum marks in PCM in 12th and age limit is born on or after 1 july,1999.You may check the link below for more details about the dates and application process.I hope it helped.

While applying Mtech you can consider NIRF ranking also.

But don't completely rely on the NIRF ranking,especially when applying for MTECH.

First of all understand about the department you apply for Mtech in each institution. Because even if the institute has good ranking, the department you apply may be good or bad.

You can visit the official site of each institute, check the placement statistics, programms conducted etc.

You can also go through the reviews of students, alumini etc

Its better if you can contact anyone currently pursuing Mtech in that institute to get better idea about faculty,department etc.

I see that you are preferring civil above any other subject. And geotechnical engineering , what I have heard and what my friends told me . 

Civil is one of those branches which doesn't have good scenarios . What I have heard that they have average packages . Some even say that it is the worst when compared to other branches. 

But as civil is oldest so I don't think that the scope would be low. 

What you are chosing is based above your interest. But ask me I would suggest you to go for transportation engineering I think it is better than all other specialisation in civil engineering. But that is my point of view.

ESS and Technology at IIT Kharagpur is focused on the natural resources and resource management technology which is used at various operational level. Whereas, Maintenance and Tribology at IIT Dhanbad is more focused on the resource allocation of regional tribes and management of endemic tribes. So, it completely depends on your interest. Consider what interests you and suits you. However, IIT Kharagpur is slightly better in placements than IIT Dhanbad.

 As Per the committee of some colleges there is some more instruction yet to come regarding the OC-EBC category. The Financial aid is definitely willl be given to students, but any kind of relief in cutoff is yet to be decided.

As per the last year cut-off, there will be some difficulties you can face for the CSE with the Specialization in big data, but as the rankwise cutoff changes every year, you can try for the same. fill the form according to your preferance.
