Doing Mtech with digital system and computer electronics can be a good choice.After completing M.tech After completing M Tech (Digital Systems & Computer Electronics) course, one can find a lucrative job in device fabrication & sensory technology, microwave engineering & radars, wavelets and signal processing etc., or can opt for higher studies at doctorate level.Infotech Software Solutions Inc, Infosys , ATI Technologies, App Labs, Bank of America, Accenture, Cognizant Technology Solutions , Deloitte, Dell, Google, HCL , Nokia , Samsung are the name of few of the company where you can try for good jobs . Important is from where you are doing M.tech. Like if you do well in GATE you can get good colleges

Candidates have to appear for TANCET exam or have a valid GATE score for admission to M.Tech courses in Tamil Nadu colleges.

The cutoff required for admission varies from college to college depending on  factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, candidates applying for admission, availability of seats, etc.

See the information that you have provided is quite inadequate in the sense you have not mentioned your Branch. Still your Communal rank is very decent and you should be able to get good private colleges or even a government college as trends change every year. You should try for : Sri Krishna College of Engineering, Coimbatore Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore Mepco, Sivakasi Kongu Engineering College, Perundurai Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Chennai.

Well I cannot really suggest you about the exact rank but I can surely provide you a range within which your rank may lie. 

Your rank should lie between 5511 to 9446.

I will also say that it is a complete guess based on usual cutoff trends and your rank may not match with my prediction as the cutoffs vary every year depending on the number of candidates, their scores, the number of seats available, etc.

As you mention your rank... rank you can get good colleges but may you cannot get top colleges like MIT, CEG ,ACT and other top colleges...

As you did not mention your  category..... category play an important role to get admission .
