M.E /M.Tech.
Dear aspirant,
Your percentile is a bit low to get colleges like anna university, university of madras. To get the accurate idea of cut offs I am providing you the link in which you can go through the cut offs and decide which college you want to choose-
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/tancet-cutoff
As you have mentioned that you have got 66.89 percentile so I would like to tell you that if you are aiming for good higher colleges like anna university , university of chennai, ssn school.of management then I don't think you would be able to grab a seat in any of these. So you should go for lower colleges.
Hello,
According to the expected Cutoffs, With this percentile it is very very difficult for to take admission in Anna University and top participating Institutions. But the Cutoff fluctuates every year, so don't lose hope. However, Official cutoff for TANCET 2021 has not been released by Anna University, conducting body of TANCET exam 2021 on behalf of Tamilnadu government.
Have a look at the Expected rank list for M.E./M.Tech
37-36 (Scores Obtained)- 4001-4500 (Expected rank), grade for BC Candidates- F
You have scored even lower, so chances are very less that you would be able to secure a seat in any of the Participating Institutes. Wait for the official Cutoff, official Cutoff might be even lower and maybe you grab a seat.
Good Luck.
Hi Anjali,
As per your percentile score and previous year cutoff, the colleges you get as per your TANCET score are:
Bharatiar University Coimbatore
Annamalai University
Guru Nanak College Chennai
Periyar University
These are the college you are eligible for. You will get admission in these above colleges
Hi Asar,
See, whether salary will be more or less depends upon the skills and experience you have not your degree. The more you will get skilled and gain experience, the more will be salary. Now, if you go with same skillset and experience with both MBA and M.Tech, then it is expected that you will get a high salary job when you go with MBA. This is just because MBA is a management course and managers are always paid more than an engineer. CFA stands in between these two.
Feel free to ask doubts in the Comment Section.
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!

Hope this helps!
Thank you!
Because you have a B.SC background, it will be difficult for you to study and grasp the courses in a ME/M.Tech programme. Furthermore, you cannot simply stop after finishing your M.Tech; you must pursue a PhD as well. If you have a B.SC and wish to continue your education, M.SC is the way to go. You'll work for both the government and the commercial sector.
hello,
According to your rank that is 316, you have slight chance of getting M.Tech in EEE in CEG campus but in MIT campus according to me you will get the seat for sure. Also they upload the results on their official website but in order to make sure you have to keep at least 3-4 colleges in your mind so that it will confirm your chances of gettin seats.
all the best!!
