Abhishek Roy Student Expert 8th Mar, 2019

HELLO!ROUSHAN

Your predicted score isn't enough to secure IITs or NITs for mtech programs. You need at least 600 score to pursue mtech degree courses from IITs and 500 score for NITs.For sureity wait till IIT Madras announces gate score. As 430 is your predicted score wait till final results gets declares.

Can i take admission in m.tech based on Gate 2016 scorecard? On scorecard it says validity is till 22nd March, 2019.

Shravan Hari 26th Jan, 2019

Hi Pradeep, Ya you can apply for m.tech admission using the gate 2016 scorecard, generally the gate score validity is for 3 years from the date of results for doing PG courses, but for joining PSUs they only consider the recent year scores of GATE. All the best
