Students appearing for GATe and who all havebeen selecyed in PsU or For Mtech need to have minimum 50%aggregate marks in graduation and must have all subjects cleared as eligibility criteria.

mahimadogra_6929406 Student Expert 11th Sep, 2018

Hey Shubham.

In 2018, 3 students were placed from MTech Biotechnology in the company Pathfinder. There were no other placements for the same branch in MTech. Most students go for further research or Competitive exams other than opting for placements from this branch.

You can use the link below for more details regarding this.

Hi Nisarga,
It would be difficult to tell you exactly about the college which you can get as cutoff depends on various factors like Numbers of appeared candidates, difficulty level of exam, Availability of vacant seats, Marking Scheme, Previous years cut off etc. You can refer previous year cutoff to take an Idea about your admission possibilities with the previous year cutoff.

2) You will get preference for promotion if you want to work in core industry.
3) If interested in research, it is good option.
4) Improve chances of getting placed in core companies.

Which is better in M tech. And MBA

Meghna chawla 31st Jul, 2018

Hello dear,

Both MBA and Mtech are really good as career options. Both of them have value.

MBA prepares you for different roles and generally expands your knowledge in non techincal areas, whereas Mtech focus on increasing your techincal skills. It takes your technical skills to next level.

MBA has more scope in finance, banking, consultancy and others, which maybe techincal. Mtech gives you opportunities in academia, research and development and technical fields.

So i would suggest you to choose according to your interest. It matters the most.

All the best!
