Can you please tell which particular college you are asking for but in case you are asking for NITs,IITs,GFTIs then the admissions are done through Gate score only and for NITs you will have to participate in CCMT counseling and if you want to get it done from IITs then
Hi, To be eligible for GATE exam, there is no specific pass percentage criteria. The pass percentage matter during M.Tech admissions as some IIT's ask for 60% and above, while some don't. Infact if you apply for PSU's, even in that case you need 60% and above.
Every category has a Pwd reservation of 3% in it so open will have open Pwd, OBC will have OBC PWD and so on M.Tech or any course, the reservations are Govt guidelines which all Govt institutes have to follow.

GATE is the best one. Next if you are interested in BITS, you could appear for BITSAT HD. they offer M.E in Embedded systems. Check here http://bitsadmission.com/hdmain.aspx?id=1262015. IIITH is another Good one but they dont have embedded systems. You could look at their programmes and see if one suits you
