km category stands for kashmir -migrant category. yes some colleges have this reservation for master of technology admission. however every year seat matrix changes and so it changes on category also. you need to check the official notificaton of the colleges before applying.

You can do M tech after B.E .I appreciate your idea but for doing M tech you should go for gate exam so that you can do M tech through IITs or reputed institutions.
