To become a mechanical engineer you can give entrance examinations conducted by Several colleges and universities to provide admissions. Candidates are required to appear in the entrance examination to get admission in the desired college. There are several other institutes and colleges which provide admission on the basis of 10+2 passing percentage. Students are required to complete 10+2 in physics, chemistry and maths with an aggregate of 50 per cent of marks from a recognised board.

MLR is a mediocre college with good labs and infrastructure, but with a good faculty.
in previous years, the highest salary package offered was 4.5 LPA. Around 2% of the students get an internship in Being Inc.Almost 100% of the students from get placed. Top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra, LTI, Cyient, Tata, Tata Advanced Systems (TASL), etc. Top roles offered in Btech ME are production engineers, developer, inspector and research-oriented work. In 2018, the highest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Mechanical students receive internships in BHEL, Tata Service Centre, i.e., 20% of the students.

According to the official notice By BITS it says that the candidate must have passed first degree of BITS or equivalent with minimum 60% aggregate in qualifying degree examination.No you cannot apply since it says that the people with b tech degree in IT can apply in ME software system only.You can check other details in the link below:
