Mechanical Engineering
Hey
Hope you are doing fine.
Robotics is the discipline which bridge the way between mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science, and even psychology. To be a robotics engineer, you need to have a whole range of different skills and areas of expertise. There are 3 core disciplines within robotics that is mechanics, electronics, and computer science.
Mechanical Engineering - This branch of engineering looks at the physical systems which make up a robot. Subtopics like mechanics, materials engineering and manufacturing are core to industrial robotics. Often, mechanical engineering courses will have specialization in mechatronics or robotics, but these tend to be focused mostly on physical design and actuation.
Electrical and Electronic Engineering - This branch of engineering gives you the basics of electronics, embedded systems, low-level programming, and control theory. Often, electrical engineering courses will also provide specialisations in robotics or automation, which will be centred around the control of robots rather than the mechanical design.
Computer Science - A lot of people in research seem to enter robotics through computer science. Common platforms remove the research focus from the physical hardware and instead allow researchers to concentrate on software and high-level programming. Often, these courses will include robotic programming topics such as Artificial Intelligence and Software Design.
These are the core 3, but there are also many other routes you could take to end up working in robotics.
Of course, you are never going to be a leading expert in all of the sub-fields of robotics, but developing yourself into a competent computer scientist, electrical engineer and mechanical engineer will put you in a great position when you continue to specialise throughout your career.
Hope this helps.
hiii ,
if you are asking about vellore institute of technology then no , there is no such criteria in vit vellore or in any campus of vit .

echanical Engineering of NIT PATNA is overall good and can be considered but ............
There are 70+(will increase) has placed till now out of 90(registered) in just 3 months of placement season and many more companies are about to come in upcoming months also (6months are still left )
The recruiters in our branch This yr are DELOITTE,
ZS ASSOCIATES, CAPZEMINI , LARSON AND TURBO Groups ( Both Tech and core), ACCENTURE, MATHWORKS, ALSTOM, TATA PROJECTS, BYJU'S, ZENSAR, COGNIZANT, ICICI BANK and many more in the list. Alongwith Many companies also have shown their interests and Yet to come.
Till now Average Package is 7-9 LPA.
Minimum package is nearly 6 LPA.
So placement is not as record breaker, just student getting placed, like most of other NIT core branches.
Roles offered here are of Analyst, Core Mechanical Engineer, SDE, Managers.
You may have opportunitues for all 3 ( core/ Tech/Non- tech)
This yr 2-3 psu have planned for on campus and generally they will recruit Mechanical / Electrical guys (MECON and BPCL,HAL).
But again packages may or may not be as per your dream.
NIT PATNA has improved day by day. As per latest NIRF it is at 14th place among 31 NITS.
Recently NIT PATNA is choosen by ISRO in North India for regional space center, so interested person from now onwards can get good research guidance for the same.
It's New campus of 125 acre is under construction and hope so to be functional from (I don't know, may be next 5 yr or next generation).
The harsh reality is about Internship here. You may not get good internship opportunities in your 3rd yr , however placement is like(theek_thak) and can be improved more in further yrs.
IIIT Delhi is also good but it's fee is very high because it is private institute.. Also coding culture of IIITs are far better than many NITs If you are interested in CSE/IT then IIIT_H is the best option for you. IIIT Hyderabad, IIIT Allahabad , IIIT Delhi are far better than NITs in terms of coding.
Mechanical is all about machines, their designs and structures, how they work etc. CSE is computers and coding. If you like latest technology and are interested in their working CSE is good. Both branches have good job opportunities.
In case of branch it is dependent upto you on which field you want to go.
I think CSE in IIITs will be better option than Mechanical in NIT Jamshedpur.

National Institute of Technology, Rourkela, formerly Regional Engineering College, Rourkela is a publicly funded institute of higher learning for engineering, science and technology located in the steel city of Rourkela, Odisha, India .
National Institute of Technology, Raipur is a public technical and research university located in Raipur, India. Founded in 1956 with two engineering disciplines, the university focuses exclusively on science, technology, engineering, and architecture.
I m not very sure about the placement statics of both the institutes currently, but i can state that NIT Rourkela is better than NIT Raipur in all aspects.
In case of branch it is dependent upto you in which field you want to go.
From my point of view NIT Rourkela CSE will be better than NIT Raipur electrical or mechanical.
Hello.
It is not possible to say which branch of engineering would be best. Eacj field has its own perks and cons. It completely depends upon your interest and ability ,what field you choose. Also, depends on how you perform in the entrance exams for engineering and how you've scored previously.
Given below are the Ames of few colleges in Guahati that you can opt for:-
1) IIT Guwahati
2) Assam engineering college, Guwahati
3) Assam engineering institute, Guwahati
4) Don Bosco college of engineering and technology, Guwahati.
5) Royal school of engineering and technology, Guwahati
6) Royal Global University, Guwahati
And many others. Follow the link given below for all other details.:-

Hello,
I hope you are doing good,
NIT WARANGAL -
With about 80% of the candidates fielded annually, the NIT Warangal is excellent at actual placement. Over the past few years there has been an increase in the number of companies visiting it. In computer science the highest package is about 40 lacs CTC, while in EEE, ECE can be more than 30 lacs almost every year. About Mechanical is very good in placement.
In terms of quality and resources I would give a moderate rating because it is one of the oldest campuses and also due to poor maintenance, but for the first years the hostel facilities are good, in terms of food, their fines for Telugu candidates. in the case of students outside the region, it is possible to adjust the environment around them. We actually have a very efficient campus with Wi-Fi, which is an excellent resource for students. Classes and a library are excellent for a decent boy to prepare for his studies. It provides many sources of information in books.
Teachers are helpful and in need of professionals especially in the department of machinery. We may also find more useful information in labs. The curriculum is practical and useful for industry needs. The level of teaching is excellent where we can find experienced professionals in the machinery department.

NIT AP -
NIT Andhra Pradesh is one of the best NITs in India and is the 31st NIT and 2nd and is the smallest NIT in India. More than 78% of students are enrolled. It received 16 LPA as the highest and 6.89 LPA as the middle package and 3.6 LPA as the lowest 2020 package in the past. Many companies such as Deloitte, TCS, Amazon, Wipro visit the campus for placement. It has acquired 80% learning opportunities in various companies such as Dell, Jp Morgan, HCL, IBM, Google.
Since every building was built 2 to 3 years ago they are all well designed with the right infrastructure. Hostels have Wi-Fi services up to 100 Mbps connection speed. All workshops are well maintained and well maintained The food quality is good and has a canteen and good medical facilities.
Now as all classes are being transformed into visual classes but the level of education has not changed and tests for more than a month have been done very firmly in the codetenta platform in descriptive mode they also do laboratory tests in descriptive mode are funny but they can. in this epidemic.

Mechanical engineers design power-producing machines , such as electric generators, internal combustion engines, and steam and gas turbines, as well as power-using machines, such as refrigeration and air-conditioning systems. Mechanical engineers design other machines inside buildings, such as elevators and escalators. Mechanical engineering is a blend of maths, science and computing . Mechanical engineers are responsible for building the world as we know it. From the smallest nanotechnology to society's largest constructions such as buildings, cars, and space stations, mechanical engineers are key in their design and development.
Daily tasks for automotive engineers include: Researching and producing vehicle components . Generating cost estimates and vehicle descriptions . Evaluating environmental and safety practices of certain projects .
