ee in nit agrtala vs chemical in nit surat vs mechanical in nit hamirpur please reply

Rohith Miryala 30th Oct, 2021

Hello Mohit,

As you are confused among the colleges. I have used the compare colleges tool to know the different factors and compare them. The colleges you have given me are:

  • NIT Surat--------Electrical Engineering
  • NIT Agartala----Chemical Engineering
  • NIT Hamirpur-----Mechanical Engineering

As there are different branches  it does make me easy to select the branch as it is your personal interest. If you want me to check in terms of Average package then NIT Surat is better compared to other colleges. You can even go through the college reviews from the link provided below :

Hope this helps....

What are the options after doing M Tech in CSE after giving GATE? I have my BE in Mechanical.

Subhrajit Mukherjee 20th Sep, 2021

See if you do MTech CSE then you can obviously go for different positions in R&D as well as in IT sector. You can go for the IT companies such as TCS, Cognizant, Accenture etc and can develop a very good career options such as Software Developer, Web Developer, Application Developer, System Development, Block Chain Developer etc.

Now you can go for R&D institutes such as ISRO, BARC, DRDO etc as a scientist/Engineering for different sectional jobs in the institutions. SO you have a broad range of opportunities. The only thing is you must learn the skills well.

I am currently pursuing B.E in Mechanical Engg. I want to do my M.Tech in AI/ML/Automation courses. Should I give gate in Mech or CSE?

Subhrajit Mukherjee 20th Sep, 2021

If you wish to take admission in CSE then you have to appear for GATE CSE paper. Now it may seem to you a bit tough but let me assure you every year there are lot of student who does such transition and they do absolutely great in there career undoubtedly. Now the thing you should be keen about is that you are interested in coding and learning Mathematical concepts in CS which are quite different from the mathematical operation and tools used in ME. So you need to keep a open mind in terms of learning and with a good amount of hard work you will crack it and will find a successful career ahead.
