VIT is good and specially the main campus if you talk about the better placement as compare to UPES.

NIT Trichy is one of the top NITs so you will have to secure a good rank in Jee Mains. Considering general category, 250+ score is enough to admit in NIT Trichy. For OBC students, There is slightly less score to need like 230+ and 180–190+ score need for SC,

IIT bbsr is best for Mechanical Engineering as the labs are well equipped and Industrial collaboration gives an added advantage to this institutes among the other new IITs.
