I regret to say this but with this rank chances of getting a seat in some government college is a bit low and that too when the candidate do not have access to benefits of some special category . But still the candidate can try for his / her respective home state government colleges for their he / she will get home state quota . Apart from this candiadte has also try in the following colleges till physical round

Mechanical Diploma or Mechanical Engineering polytechnic courses are offered to the candidates immediately after their 10th or equivalent exam. The eligibility for Mechanical diploma courses are a minimum score of 55% marks in class 10. A relaxation of 5% is provided to the candidates belonging to the reserved categories.
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering syllabus consists of the different subjects such as Fluid Mechanics and Machinery, Manufacturing Technology-I, Theory of Machines, Fluid Power Engineering, etc.

Allahabad University does offer M.A and M.Sc in Geography but in this admission session they have only opened applications for these courses:
(1) Master of Computer Applications (MCA)
(2) M.Sc. Food Technology
(3 )M. Voc in Media Studies
(4) PG Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA)
You can wait for other courses to come or can also check in other colleges of your preference.

So on such rank and category you have very low or almost no chances to get Mechanical in any of the NITs until and unless you deserve Home state quota for some North-Eastern NITs like NIT SIlchar, Nagaland and likewise because for other state/All India quota closing cut-off ranks are quite low which you can check from the given list :-
