Iam twenty seven years old and have completed Mechanical Engineering in 2015 and have been working as Software engineer in IT since then But my passion has been in Physics and want to enter in to research in Astronomy or Quantum Mechanics Can anyone please suggest how should i proceed

Suraj kumar 11th Jun, 2021
I give you easy idea if you have time than try to score in gate exam that gives you opportunity in research in physics paper that helps you better understand in that after cleaning gate exam if you given your efforts and also try to given good college entrance exam if you passed then government's college give you chance to teach btech students bsc students and many others facility after all you also try to pg entrance test in physics of university exam that also give you lots of things
Then come out from comfort zone and start solving pyq of that exam papers that asked university in her entrance and learn it make notes and lots of things on internet is free learn syllabus ans solve problems that's giving you confidential and real taste of exam

cse is tough or mechanical engineering is tough

REVILLA SAI VAMSHI 11th Jun, 2021
Dear Aspirant,

It's a kind of controversial question but the thing is both of them have there own pros and cons if you start a debate to find which is tougher than it never gonna end.

People pick up the branch they want to pursue based on there interest, find what interests you the most and go with it,rather than thinking alot about "what's tougher and what's easier?".... You should realise that the branch you are about to choose should be interesting for you atleast! forget about people around as studying in a department which doesn't interest's you will just turn your day's ahead as a nightmare with bunch of regrets.

Take your decision wisely

mechanical engineering or cse which is tough

Suraj kumar 11th Jun, 2021
In mechanical engineering we learn lots of machines like motor cycle engine car engine and many more parts and understand it and make it from graph and work on it and company also wanted this if you go to cse then in which you learn coding app developer websites developer and many more software type work and like language learning of computer and its application  then this is beneficial for you what's your choice if you interested in machine then mechanical engineering is good if you good in computer then cse is best for you it varies person to person then make your own choices and choose it

Hows the idea of pursuing management after b.tech, how it changes the subject knowledge,as I am a mechanical engineering student and want to pursue my pg at IIM

susanna.maryb 10th Jun, 2021

Hello Abhigyan,

Pursuing MBA after B.Tech doesn't take away your knowledge in the subject. Infact pursuing a masters degree in management after B.Tech will actually increase the chances of your getting recruited. Especially since you are aiming for IIM it would be ideal that you prepare for CAT and look into the syllabus as well as percentile of cut off. Since IIMs are the number 1in management study institutes this will be nothing but a power up to your resume. Hope this helps and Good luck!
