Yes you have good chances of getting mechanical Engineering in  bit sindri. But still its not a sure shot call that you eill get but I feel that there is a high chance in Mechanical particularly due to reduced demand in machanical engineering branch.

It doesn't depends upon your branch it depends upon the subject you studied and your privious degree score .

For MSc in physics eligibility criteria is if you have scored more than 55% or 5.5 CGPA and 50%  or 5 CGPA (for SC/ST category) in your privious degree
