kartikjain2548 Student Expert 13th Aug, 2019

Hello,

According to previous year cutoff your chances are almost negligible. But you can have benefit of you SC quota. As this year around 197 seats in total are vacant at Jadhavpur University. And some seats may remain vacant in particular quota. But according to GMR ranks the last rank which gets admission are 7000. According to me you should attend the counselling.

raviteja katru 4th Jul, 2019

Hello Shahul, You have got a good rank in Eamcet congrats for that, but with this rank it is very hard to get government college or university seat for mechanical branch. You can apply mechanical branch for top colleges your rank is eligible for that and apply for fees reimbursement and government will bare fees for college. So, All th best for your Studies.

Sir can I know what is the cut off rankTS pgecet in OU and JNTU Hyderabad in mechanical engineers

srinja.006_9773413 Student Expert 13th Aug, 2019

Hello Dheeravathchinna.

Since the TS PGECET closing ranks for colleges are not available anywhere so I cannot really give you any suggestions regarding the same for OU and JNTUH. I choose not to guess in this matter as it is a sensitive issue and beating about the bush isn't an option.

If you are worried about whether you can get OU or JNTUH with this rank or not, I would suggest you to participate in the counselling properly and wait.

I could have given you mild suggestions regarding your chances of getting OU or JNTUH if you would have mentioned your rank.

Visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ts-pgecet-counselling to get detailed information regarding TS PGECET counselling.

Hope that helped.

All the best!

NIT Bhuvneshwar Mechanical or Jaypee CS??

S. Saha Student Expert 4th Jul, 2019
NIT BHUBANESWAR
  • Placement
The college is providing many placement facilities to the students and for this you will feel much more secured.
  • Faculty
They are very trained and experienced teachers in the college.
  • Internships Opportunities
Renault, TCS, Microsoft etc are the companies come for the internship.

JAYPEE
  • Placement
Placement is good. For the CSE department, placement is exceptionally  good. But the problem is posed for the students of other branches (E.C.E, Biotech) who have to struggle quite a bit to get placed.
  • Internship opportunities
The college doesn't provide any internship or training opportunities on its own. The internship is necessary but the students are required to find one on their own.
