Mechanical Engineering
Yes! You can study GME after B.E in mechanical engineering. U can apply for various colleges like SCI, ANGLO EASTERN, SIMS, IMS. But now a days there is recession in shipping industry, u might not get a job after doing GME. You will be paid 500-600$ during training as a junior engineer, training period is of 6-10 months, after that u have to appear for 4th engineer exam, if you pass it then salary will be good.

According to the college reviews, LJ Institute is the most preferable college to study in if you are career oriented. Government Engineering College, Modasa has a reputed faculty in the college but it does not have good placement scenario. Silver Oak is also a good college but it is still developing its infrastructure as it is quite new. LDRP Institute of Technology is also a good college with average placement scenario and co-operative faculty. Indus University is also good but has moderate infrastructure. Here are the links to all these colleges for more information:

Hello Divya.
Congratulations on securing this rank.
Since the closing ranks for colleges are not available anywhere so I cannot really give you any suggestions regarding the colleges that you can get with this rank. I choose not to guess in this matter as it is a sensitive issue and beating about the bush isn't an option.
Coming to your rank, with my knowledge, it is good enough to easily get mechanical in Osmania University, especially cause you belong to a reserved category.
I would suggest you to participate in the counselling properly and wait.
Visit https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/ts-pgecet-counselling to get detailed information regarding TS PGECET counselling.
Hope that helped.
All the best!
Yes dear your category rank i.e. ST rank 699 is very good and you will definitely get a seat in Chaitanya Bharti Institute of Technology,Hyderabad. On the basis of previous year trends the cut off lasts upto 800 in ST.The college is good in all terms and you should not worry and wait for the counselling.
Hope this helps.
No, if your choice has been upgraded from IIT to IIT then you do not need to undergo the entire Document verification process but you are required to go to the reporting centre to change your choice from float to freeze by submitting your undertaking. For more details you can read the business rules of JOSAA. Hope this helps.
