Hello aspirant!!

As u have mentioned that u are totally interested in automobile engineering then let me clarify u that Mechanical Engineering includes automobile engineering in itself and if u want to explore automobile more then u can join SAE club of your college as this club totally dedicated to automotive engineers .So,u can take admission in any IIT and after that u can easily opt for that as future perspective.

Don't worry and get down with your confusion.you can move with your passionated field freely

The short answer is yes because in many colleges,aerospace engineeringis basically a specialization ofmechanical engineering. The reverse is also true however. Studyingaerospace engineeringdoesn't lock you into only aerospace jobs...you can still get mechanical engineering jobs and even other field jobs.

Yes you can definitely get admission into vssut burla by your rank in jee mains as mechanical engineering branch in vssut burla ends upto a maximum rank of 5lac .Even you can get electrical engineering in vssut

As you have reserved category rank, you can try for Jadavpur University. But you have less chances to get seat into Jadavpur University. Apart from Jadavpur, you can get seat in electrical and mechanical in Kalyani Government Engineering college.
You can try for Coachbeher government engineering college, Jalpaiguri Government Engineering college or Purulia Government Engineering college. Though Purulia govt. College is newly established (2016). So no idea about Placement scenario.

Mechanical engineering in Government College of Engineering, Aurangabad is a good choice.

Almost 80% to 85% of the students are placed. The highest salary package offered 12 LPA, the average salary package offered is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3.4 LPA. Companies like Siemens, Lodha Group, TCS, Grieves and Crompton, L&T, PGS, etc., visited the college for placements. Almost 95% of the students got internships from the college. A placement cell is also available in the college, and it handles all the placement and internship operations for students.

Teachers are helpful and have completed their PhD. Teaching quality is good, and they use modern teaching methods and technology like the projector to teach. The student to teacher ratio is 10:1. The college provides industry exposure.
