Here are the NIT'S and IIT's which stand at the top(considering placement, faculty ) in terms of offering Mechanical Engineering.
1) IIT Madras - Department of Mechanical Engineering

According to what I believe, IITs are superior than NITs being different in the following ways:

Global Recognition of Brand IITs: IITs have always featured in the global chart of engineering colleges from India whereas NITs do not appear in the same list.

Hii Your tank is bit high
As per the previous year cutoffs you have no chance of getting any NITs or IIITs.You might get some seats in later rounds of some lower ranked NITs.
You can get some state government colleges and some private Colleges which are accredited to NBA.

Your CRL 56205 in JEE Mains in not quite good rank but also you are having OBC-NCL quota

So there is a chance to get admission in both Indian Institute of Information Technology one in Pune and other in Nagpur for Computer Science Engineering and Electronics and Communication
