Firstly its upto your interest to choose from these branches,  both of these are core branches and the subjects in which you have more interest in you should go for that. But if we talk about scope of both the fields obviously mechanical has a bit more placement chances

Hello Surya,

Yes, you can get mechanical in VIT AMRAVATI with this rank. Vit Amravati is not as good as VIT VELLORE and CHENNAI branches are. The placements of this college is also not upto the mark. 

I would suggest you to look for other colleges or drop this year

Hello,

Yes you can definitely go abroad by taking mechanical engineering course .

You need to maintain a good cgpa around 8 or9 depending on your college

To get selected into a company you need to have a good  on your mechanical  stream

Hii Anup. As per the cut offs, NIT Trichy is best in comparison to Warangal and Surathkal for mechanical Engineering. And if we also see the rankings, everytime NIT Trichy secures top spot followed by Surathkal and Warangal. Talking about placements, they had not revealed the avg. ctc for trichy
