Followed by Thermal Engineers and then Manufacturing deparment. If you are expectionally good then you can study M. Tech in Mechatronics, you will get hired by good companies.

It is tough to secure a seat in NITs for Designing if you are from GENERAL category. If you are from OBC/SC/ST then only there is chance of getting seat in lower NITs. 

You can also try GFTIs with this score. Like Guru Ghasidas University Bilaspur may accept

EWS category reservation has provided for the first time in JEE Main Entrance Exam so it would be difficult to tell you about the admission possibilities as previous year cutoff is not available but with this rank the chances seems less to get a seat in NITs.
