Mechanical - with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks or A.M.I.E. with 60% aggregate marks in each part individually.

52 percentile is very less marks it is not even enough to qualify for jee advanced .
And approximately rank with this percentile will be more than 4.5 lakhs and with this rank you will not be able to get good college.

With the JEE percentile you have mentioned your probable General rank is around 7,35,562. It may change after the second edition of JEE mains which will be conducted in April, so wait for final rank announcement. Now, with this rank you cannot expect NITs or even IIITs. But

Diploma candidates can go for btech through lateral entry.you can directly take admission in 2nd year . You have to clear exam and take admission in Institute or university where lateral entry is valid.
