I will not recommend you to do any job after diploma course as the packages will be low.You should try to do engineering course from a good college(having Btech lateral entry course available).

after getting into IIT bombay you'll get the stipend of Rs.12,400(TA) And 14,400(RA).

in iit delhi the TA ship stipend will be same as the iit bombay,for RA- Rs,15,000.
