After masters degree you can take job and work in a compnies. Else phd is also very good option. After phd job opportunity definitely increses.

My rank for pgcet 2018 type A mtech in mechanical is 7449. I dont know further processes. Will they update anything in their official site?

You can go for aeronautical engineering after mechanical engineering. 

For this, you have to clear GATE. 

The minimum eligibility to pursue M.tech aeronautical engineering is B.E. Or B.tech with atleast 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent CGPA from recognised university. Also tha candidate must have 60% minimum in

For Mechanical engineering candidates, MBa In Operations is best suggested as it has good mix of technical and management aspects. 

For Mtech, One Can go either into Production engineering or Mechanical engineering.

However majorly job opportunities for Mtech is for Mechanical engineering candidates via GATE in PsU.

We recommend opt for Mechanical engineering in GAte as maximum job opportunities into core regular streams like Mechanical and Civil engineering
