IIT Guwahati provides mechanical engineering in undergraduate program (B.Tech) but does not provide Mechatronics engineering. Also, the institute provides masters (M.Tech) courses for specialization in Mechanical engineering.

The cut off for mechatronics engineering won't be high as it's a newly introduced branch and it would be around 7-8k at a maximum. But it may go higher in upcoming years.
There are various factors that needs to be considered like number of candidates appearing in the examination, number of vacant seats in college, previous years cut offs and difficulty level of the paper.

Mechatronics designing is an interdisciplinary stream and considered under the youngster exchange of Mechanical designing. This is because the JEE mains cutoff rank keeps varying every year and ids different for different category candidates and varies from colleges to college.
