UPES dehradun is a good college but its fees structure is very high its around 13-14 lkh excluding hostel fees if you can afford its better to take admission because its placement is really very good and infrastructure and faculty are also very good . BOTH  the universities are private

Mechatronics engineering has good scope specifically into Manufacturing and Robotics automation sectors into roles like Design and Product development, total quality management,, supply chain Management, Lean Management, Mining Excellency and Supervision,, Project management. 

If done from top nIt/IIT has great demand because of its brand reputation and learning development. 

You shoukd go for masters in Mechtronics from UsA or Canada based University where excellent acope and demand is expected. In India very few companies recruut Mechtronics students as more of Mechanical engineering students are in demand.

You can also go for Mtech In Mechtronics in India but some Universities
