I have done MBA in Media management. Can I apply for UGC NET in Mass communication and journalism? I had similar course background as of MCJ

Hello Anant,


Yes, you are eligible to appear in the Mass Communication & Journalism subject. As per the UGC NET norms aspirant can apply for the subject in which they have completed their post-graduation.


But this is not the only eligibility criteria to appear in the UGC NET. You must check the UGC NET Eligibility Criteria before filling the application form.


NTA will soon release the UGC NET official notification to apply online.


The next UGC NET exam will held in the month of December 2019. Keep yourself updated with the UGC NET latest news.

Hi Ankita! No, PUMBA does not offer MBA in Media Management. You may target MICA Ahmedabad, SIMC Pune, IISB&M Pune, Xavier School of Communication, Xavier University, Bhubaneswar for Media Management programmes.

The fee structure for deviprasad goyenka college for media its around  6.5lakhs  , and for Whistling college its 9lakhs.Both the colleges are located in  Mumbai .
