Raashi Kohli 22nd Jun, 2019

Hi, i would like to inform that it is a little difficult to predict the cut off scores or rank for any college/course as they change every year depending on various factors like the number of applicants, number no seats available in the college etc.

Based on last year's cut off for Delhi college of Arts and Commerce, the first cutt off percentage was 96.5%. looking at last year's cut off you might be able to get admission by 7th(88% last year) or 8th(84% last year) cut off list.

You can use Careers360 DU College Predictor 2019, to confirm about your chances. The predictor will show colleges in which you can get admission based on your best of four percentage and the DU cut off trends.

Good Luck

I want to pursue journalism from DU. Am I making the right decision?

Gavanksha Student Expert 21st Jun, 2019

Hello aspirant,

The department is good. The faculty is brilliant. Atmosphere is conducive for debates and discussions. From the first year itself, you can intern with media organisations. Several guest speakers from prominent media houses are frequently invited for lectures and you get to learn the tricks of the trade very early. The students after graduating may go for higher studies or work with diverse media such as radio, broadcast, film, print etc.

Best of luck!!

Can I get admission in delhi school of journalism through ECA quota? Is ECA quota applicable in DU.dsj

Raashi Kohli 21st Jun, 2019

Hi, admission to Delhi School of Journalism is conducted though entrance exam. Unfortunately, not all colleges offer seats under this quota so you will have to check what colleges accept which ECA categories for admission, because if the college does not have a society for that activity, you won't be able to take admission throu that ECA activity in the college. You will have to look them up in the UG Bulletin of Information 2019-20 that has been released.

Good luck
