I have 90% in best 4 from science. want to do journalism from du.If in first cut off I dont get dcac should I take admission in othe du??

Nikita Akhuli 24th Jun, 2019
Hi aspirant
The cutoff for jounralism obc category is in between 80-90. Since you will be changing your stream you will face a deduction of 1-3%(depending on the college) from your best four score.
Assuming this there is probability that you get admission by the second cutoff. All du Colleges are equally good, having good faculty and atmosphere so you can take admission in any College.
As you seemed to be inclined towards dcac, you can take admission in whichever college you are getting in the first cut off and then change  for better College till you reach to your desired college whenever your cutoff matches.
Because it will be foolish to wait for admission till the moment you match the cutoff , this way you can miss the opportunity to study in du, colleges give out next cutoffs only on the basis of no of seats left, there is no guarantee that the College will release next cutoff or not.
