Sir Delhi University journalism entrance exam Mai passing marks kitne hai pls tell

Hey Jaishree,

There won't  be passing marks or something the admission will be based on the merit list on the basis of entrance examination. 

The pattern of the exam goes like this :-

  • No. of Questions – 100
  • Total Marks – 400 Marks
  • Correct Answers – 4 marks for each correct answer
  • Negative Marking – 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer

The examination will check the candidates proficiency in general knowledge and current affairs, Analytical and comprehension skills.

Dear if you have done your masters in mass communication and journalism than its better for you to qualify ugc net or jrf net through which you will get fellowship and Join PhD in good university.

If you have just graduation than it depends upon your choice you can appear in CAT MAT exams and can Pursue you MBA in IIM' s and other top bussiness colleges

To become a journalist you need to crack the entrance exam then secure a seat in popular college then gain formal education then apply for internships or job .

Courses:To become a  journalist you will need a bachelors degree in journalism or communication ,while completing your degree you can choose to specialize in either print or broadcast journalism.Futher you can opt for masters degree.You can also do various short term job oriented courses in journalism,mass communication,content writer.

Hi Tanzeel,
University of Delhi will release the first DU 2019 mass communication cutoff for the colleges offering bachelors degree in journalism in June 2019. So you will have to wait for a few days and then just check their official website for the cutoff marks. However the cutoff last year for journalism and mass communication was ranging around 92 to 95.

Is there entrance test for BA journalism In Maharaja Agrasen college?

Hello!

There is no entrance test for BA Journalism Hons. in Maharaja Agrasen College, Delhi University. The admission is based on cut off on the basis of merit marks secured in 10+2. Eligibility criteria to apply is that the candidate must have scored minimum 45% aggregate marks and must have passed English language in the qualifying examination.

Du last years cut off for ba economics and journalism??I have 87.4% in my boards and I belong to obc category.

 Here I provide you with some of the prominent colleges of du and there cutoffs accordingly it had last year. The cutoffs vary with a minor significant every year.
Lady Shri ram College had set the highest cut-off marks at 98.75 per cent for its BA (Programme) course.

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce had a cut-off of 98.50 per cent for BA (Hons) in Journalism, while LSR College had a cut-off of 98.25 per cent for BA (Hons) in Psychology. In humanities stream, Khalsa College had set the highest cut-off at 99 per cent for BA (Hons) in Political Science.

St. Stephen's College was the first to release its cut-off. For commerce students, the cut-off for Economics (Hons) was pegged at 98.75 per cent, and 98 and 97.5 per cent for humanities and science students respectively. The cut-off for English (Hons) was 97.5 per cent.

Other prominent colleges of du like hindu, hansraj, srcc, etc the cut offs goes as high as 98% or sometimes even 99%. 
But as specified it varies for people belonging to reserved category.
For reserved category the cutoffs are a bit low as compared to that of general category. People belonging to OBC category enjoys a benefit of 4-5 % lesser cutoffs for them as compared to general category.

Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), a premier institution of higher learning, is a constituent college of the Delhi University, financed partially (5 percent) by the Govt. of NCT, Delhi. It is a co-educational institution situated in prime location of Netaji Nagar.
