how much should i score in NEET UG to get a seat (OC) in kamineni institute of Medical science(L.B.Nagar, Hyderabad)

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 27th Jul, 2021
Hi

Your profile suggests that your domicile state is Maharashtra. I am assuming you from general category

It's difficult to make prediction but when we go through previous year trends then

In neet 2019 , 544marks for general category was the cut off marks/ lowest marks that got an mbbs seat in KAMINENI ACADEMY OF MEDICAL SCI AND RESEARCH, HYDunder Telangana statequota

You can check the same at

https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-telangana

But yes,

cut off marks / rank for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like

-----)number of students that appeared in the neet examination,

-----)kind of marks obtained by students in neet ,

-----)toughness level of the neet examination,

number of seats available etc.

So , in your Neet 2021 Examination to be on the safer side, so you should target at least 30-50 marks more in comparison of neet 2019 i. e , you should target at leastaround 570- 590 marks .

Now that,

limited time is left for neet 2021 , so you should be focusing on your preparation,

  • practising chapterwise questions

  • then revising the chapters,

  • solve at least previous 10 year neet question papers as concept behind the question often gets repeated in the examination so it will be of great help in your preparation ,

  • go through neet mock test papers as it will let you know your preparation level and and weak areas so that you can work on them and perform well in your examination.

To help you in your preparation we have neet knockout, the link for the same is provided below :-

I am in my class 10 ICSE school in Pune.I wish to go on medical science related field in future as I am inclined for it.Please tell should i take transfer in SSC board or CBSE school in pune for grade 11 and which schools have flexible attendance structure here? what percentage for admission

Monalisa Das 15th Jul, 2021
Hello!

The Maharastra board conducts 10th class exam through SSC and HSC for class 12th examinations.
It is the most popular education board in terms of enrollment in high school in India only after the CBSE.

As you have an inclination towards NEET,so it will be better if you switch to CBSE as it strictly follows NCERT books. You will be in good touch with the courses and books. The questions asked in NEET are mostly from NCERT books only.

Hope it helps.

Sowmya Konkala 29th Jun, 2021

hello aspirant,

As of now its tough to say because the cutoff changes every year due to many factors like total students appearing for exams, difficulty level of paper etc

based on previous year analysis the cutoffs are mentioned, considering all india  quota (as you belong to other state),for obc category you need minimum of 620+to fetch seat in institute of medical sciences of bhu varanasi.

target high and try to reach so that you don't have to worry about if u fetch the seat or not because in 2020 the cutoff rose by atleast 30-40+marks causing a difference in ranks by thousands.so prepare well.for more information regarding cutoffs refer to:

Minimum marks required to get admission in Bachelor of Unani Medical Science in government college for general category

Anurag Khanna 31st May, 2021

Hello Aspirant,

See admission to Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery is made through NEET score and it is quite difficult to predict what exactly be the marks which will take you to any Government Medical college but based on previous year's data if you belongs to General category then 450+ out of 720 in NEET 2021 would be the good score to get GMCs through state quota for General category. Note that this merely an assumption on the basis of previous year's analysis, in actual it might change with some variations. According to the official notification released by CCIM, there are in total 1706 seats for Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery across the country in different colleges.

If you are preparing for NEET 2021 then to help you in your preparation we have some resources which you can access from the link given below :-

collage medical science private hai ki gavourment

ADITYA KUMAR Student Expert 24th May, 2021

Hi

You have tagged Index Medical College Indore, so I am guessing you are asking about it.

Index Medical College Indore is a private medical college in the state of MP.

You can have details about it at our page at
https://www.careers360.com/colleges/index-medical-college-hospital-and-research-centre-indore

To help you further,
If I tell you about marks required in neet for a govt quota mbbs seat in Index Medical College Indore then

In neet 2019 , 479 marks for general category was the lowest/ cut off marks that got a government quota mbbs seat in  Index Medical College Indore under MP state quota

You can check the same at
https://medicine.careers360.com/articles/neet-cutoff-mp

But yes,
cut  off   marks / rank   for medical colleges keeps changing every year  depending upon various factors like  number of students that appeared in the neet examination, kind of marks obtained by them in neet , toughness level of the neet examination, number of seats available etc.

So ,  you should target at least around 30- 50 more in your Neet 2021 examination in comparison of Neet 2019, So you should target at least around 500- 525 marks  to be on the safer side in your neet 2021 examination if you are from general category.

Thank you
