No college is good ,no is bad ,it depend on our views ,however both the colleges you mentioned ,as we all know are very good ,no problem with facility ,hostel ,mess, study ,other development activities , infrastructure and Experienced faculties , everything is good ,it is hard for us to choose one of them ,but if you ask ,them i will go with second one ,Kalinga institute of medical science it is slightly better than first one ,i am saying that it is my personal view , you should have explore this thing to get good advice ,on the basis of one person , don't decide your life decisions ,tru to take multiple Suggestions. But i can say if you take admission in second one then you will not feel regret throughout the life .

The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS Mohali) is the Punjab State Government's fourth medical college, and it is being built under the federally funded "Establishment of new medical schools by upgrading district/referral hospitals" scheme. The National Medical Commission (NMC), the institute's regulating authority, has yet to issue a letter of permission for the academic year 2021-2022.
The institution, is built in the buildings of a civil hospital and the Punjab Health System Corporation (PHSC). The college will be expanded to Jujhar Nagar, about 2 kilometres from its current location.
In September 2021, the National Medical Commission (NMC) issued a letter of intent for 100 MBBS seats at Dr. BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences to begin the academic year 2021-22.
This year, the college will welcome its inaugural class.
