The criteria of a creamy and non-creamy layer are only that if your family income is more than 6 lakh annually then you belong to non-creamy layer and if your family income is less than 6 lakhs then you belong to creamy layer.

You can take admission in mbbs college if you get

50% for general category and 40% for obc/sc/st in your class 12th 

and 50 percentile  in NEET exam for general category and 40 percentile for obc/sc/st

If your score is 296, you can take admission in any private medical college in India. And If you have made your mind for private medical college you should have at least 5 lacs token in your hands. If your rank is good enough then don't worry it's

Hi,

For a govt college, one must secure a score above 550. For ST 2018 cut off was 599-118. Anything above 118 was considered qualified but govt college is given to students whose score is above 500 or even above 550. So I will suggest you to start preparing again
