Percentile is relative.. Here it is based on other's performance.. If you have scored 500th rank here, so basically 499 people are ahead of you and 500 people are behind you. So your percentile will be

(Number of people behind you)*100/ (Total)

= 500*100/1000 = 50 %ile

NTA will conduct NEET 2019.
