I do not know the exam you are talking about. But i assume it to be NEET exam , then according to MCC guidelines , the eligibility criteria for second round is as follows;

If one discontinues with BDS ,he/she is free to join any government medical college .But I would suggest you to leave BDS only if you have fair chances of getting a seat .Also ,you would be eligible to write neet next year ,but you can do so while
