In 2018 around 40-42 MBBS government seats are taken by sc category students.
This number of seats are 7-8% of all available government seats. St category got more than sc category.

It is mentioned nowhere that the total number of seats increased by the government will only be filled by EWS category. The procedure is actually division on the basis of percentage. After increasing, a fixed percentage of seat is alloted for EWS quota.

              I am here to answer your query. First of all, Don't be disappointed as you didn't get a seat in the 1st round. Even though you don't get any seat in 1st round you can apply for 2nd round and you didn't pay again since you already paid
