Deemed ones are the ones which have their own syllabus and make self decisions .
Example vit srm Amrita Thapar etc
Private institutions are affiliated to state and follow common curriculum.
Deemed University like lpu Sharda Thapar are better

Well according to last year's cutoff if you want to get a semi government college or a government seat in a self financing college in gujrat via state quota your score needs to be around 420-460.
