Coming to your answer it seems that in dd Jain memorial college  in Ludhiana BSC medical is not available the various UG courses which this college provide is BBA,  BCA, (BA,BSC,BSC(bio,info),  BCOM and also some pg course

You have not mentioned , to which reservation category your friend belongs to and also Considering the previous years Cutoffs you may get seat in a good private college , but you have very few chances in Govt  college ,
You can expect  seat in Maharishi markandeshwar medical

There are some private colleges better than deemed ones 

Deemed ones are the ones which have their own syllabus and make self decisions .

Example vit srm Amrita Thapar etc

Private institutions are affiliated to state and follow common curriculum.

Deemed University like lpu Sharda Thapar are better

Hi dear,
Last year cut off for SC candidates in Tamil Nadu under state quota was 239 at Rajah Muthiah Medical College, Annamalainagar and under AIQ was 417 at
Toothukudi Medical College, Toothukudi.
So going by previous years cut off it seems difficult to get a Mbbsseat at 214 in
