If you belong to UR it is really difficult to get into any of the private medical colleges but if you belong to SC/ST you have chances of getting admitted into private medical colleges.

Yes actually because there are so many colleges available for engineering. Even the seats go wasted in many of the engineering colleges. Medical has limited seats. So the students at times are option less ie they cannot get admission into any medical college itself. So they think of drop.
