Join this year. for AIQ, top colleges accept upto 70k rank. If you have any reservation category then it will be helpfull for you. Try for state government college. keep some private college options for security purpose. Better not to take risk. Fee structure will be same for everyone even who have low rank. Low rank only give better college options. So you have chances to apply into them.

You did not mention your Category. So I will write this answer for General Category. According to last year cut offs and your current rank, you can get a seat in Aarupadai Veedu Medical College and Hospital. The opening rank after Round 1 in 2019 was 39,147 and Round 2 was 45,195.But for this rank if you belong to Reserved Categories, you can also get other colleges. Any college which is recognized by MCI gives home state quota admission and open category admission. For non-domicile, they can opt through open category. Rank cutoff is low for OC which is more challenging. You have to prepare accordingly.
