How to get sponsorship for DNS course?
The eligibility for joining merchant navy is finishing class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Candidates have to be unmarried Indian citizens (male or female). Normal vision is required but glasses up to plus or minus 2.5 may be allowed.
In Merchant Navy , the salary can range from anywhere between Rs. 12000 to Rs. 8 lakhs per month though the pay structure differ from company to company, city to city, the export-import needs, seniority etc.

I regret to inform you are not eligible for merchant Navy.To be eligible for merchant Navy a candidate must have passed 10+2 with mathematics, physics and chemistry from a recognised board or university.So need to have studied mathematics in your 10+2.However, if you are interested in merchant Navy you can write mathematics exam privately through open schooling and then you will be eligible.

I would like to tell you that the entrance exam for merchant navy is Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test (IMU CET) or the All India Merchant Navy Entrance Exam. This exam is usually conducted in the month of May. Some other exams that are considered equivalent are JEE, MERI Entrance Exam, TIMSAT.

see physical fitness criteria is different for different section of position. The vision should be 6/6 (normal) in each eye separately, color vision is tested for many post also.
for Deck Department, Vision should be 6/6 in better eye and 6/9 in the other eye.
Engine and Electrical Department: Vision should be 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in better eye and 6/18 in the other eye.
