For computer science you should look out for NITs Durgapur and Jamshedpur and you can easily get IIITs as they are the best for CS/IT. to be eligible to apply for merchant navy, one must have an aggregate of 60% minimum as an aggregate in their examination and also they should have minimum of 50% in English as a separate subject. These are the minimum criteria to be eligible for merchant navy.
