To join merchant navy after class 12th you will have to appear for entrance test for admission to the Universities such as IMU CET. It is conducted by Indian Maritime University.

After completing your 12th board you have to appear in entrance exam i.e IMU CET exam(Indian Maritime University Common Entrance Test).Here you can enroll yourself for undergraduate as well as pg program under IMUCET.All the courses are offered by IMU.

To be eligible to take admission in IMU CET  you need atleast minimum aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in 12th boards and  Atleast 50% marks in English. Hence you'd be able to take the test and get admission only if your score atleast more
