Hi, The merchant navy is not exactly about jobs abroad. Also I am not sure of taking up courses especially online ones as they be recognised or not. I think you should ask your college and teachers about this as they will know better. Personally I wouldnt suggest doing two courses at a time.

Hi can you tell me which course you wish to join? They offer three courses. I am not clear about which one you are looking for and hence I canot give you any details. If you wish to do a maritime course, it is best to check the Indian Maritime University. It is a central university. They also offer good courses and best it is a Govt institute with campuses in 6 cities/towns. All maritime institutes have to be affiliated to it. http://www.imu.edu.in/index.php?id=1. at the Anglo Eastern - if it is the deck cadet course that you are intestested in then your class 11 & 12 books should be enough. The other two exams will test candidates at the degree level.
In order to study for marine engineering you can go for B.tech programme.
You can appear for JEE (Main+Advanced), BITSAT, VIT, SRM, Manipal and Amrita.You can also appear for your state level entrance exam.

DNS in IMU is an course of one year diploma in nautical science through which you will in marine sector when you complete it there will be 18month on ship training after that you have to clear psychometric test then you will join your job it is private sector and total is aprox 5to 6 lakh for better college
