MET B.Tech
Cut offs for different courses depend upon many factors such as number of candidates and relative difficulty. Marks are normalized and then converted into ranks. Ranks are what determine the cut offs. To get CSE in Manipal, a rank within 1800-2000 is a good bet. To get IT, a rank within 5000 will be good. Hope this helped. Good luck.
Hello fatima,
Previously, Met was of a 200 question, 200 marks paper with no negative marking. scoring 142 was mwrks to get IT in the first round of counselling.judging by the fact that the paper will be of similar difficulty a score of 560+ should guarantee CSE and a score of 500+ should be considered a good score. Also keeping in mind that Manipal was awarded IOE status this year, the cut offs might shoot up as well. But, it is almost impossible to account for that. So just aim for a score around 550–560 and you should be fine.
So , scoring 332 is a marks of danger may prove.
Best of luck.!!

Sir how much minimum marks are required for getting admission in manipal entrance examination for aeronautical engineering??
Plz reply me as early as possible....
Hello!
The cut off and total marks for MU OET have changes this year fro 200 to 400. Last year, a score of around 110/200 would easily get you a rank below 6000 rank. So please, prepare according to that kept in mind for a rank below 1000.
All the best!
Any score above 125 should give you a decent chance of getting one of these branches. But, I would say aim for a score above 130 to make it easier to get the branch you want in the initial rounds.
All The Best !!
Hi ,
So the closing ranks of all branches in mu oet are given in the link ..please check it out to confirm if you would get your desired branch .
https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/met-cutoff
The closing rank for cce in muj was around 3k in the 1st round in 2017. And at the spot round it was within 8k . CCE is a sought after branch and hence with a rank of 12k it would be difficult but not impossible to grab a seat . The 2019 official cutoffs are not out yet . Only after that can you be assured an admission.
Hope this was helpful.
