Yes, you can do that. metallurgy is very good one and as well biotechnology. But it's based on your passion. My suggestion is you to go through the Google and the subjects inside that. So that you'll get to know all.

Eligibility criteria for Metallurgical and Materials Engineering at O.P.Jindal University.
At least 45% marks in Higher Secondary (Class XII) with sciences Subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Language Subjects). A relaxation of 5% marks in class XII will be made for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.
Performance in JEE Mains and/or Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering

CSE branch has more scope than mechanical and metallurgy but you should prefer top NITs to take admission as they have better placements.

Chances are less to get seat as per this score in IITs and top NITs as well. But if you want try for lower NITs.
