Yes Mobile phones are allowed in TNAU hostel  coimbatore. Take care of your belongings there, Don't use it for unauthorized purposes,  otherwise they can take action on you. Mobiles phones are for your safety and for your families to take care of you . So , you can take your phone inside the hostel and keep it also.

Requirements for the exam are-Ensure that you have a good working system as below: Computer - Pentium IV/Dual Core, 1GB RAM or higher, 80 GB HDD or higher, 15” colour Monitor, Keyboard, Mouse, Microsoft Windows 10 and above Antivirus Webcam and microphone. If you do not have one, you may hire/arrange one. The candidate can also use the mobile phone for taking the exam.

If mobile Hotspot is used for Internet connection, the candidates shall ensure that they have sufficient data balance before commencing the test. Once the test begins, no retest will be given if the test is interrupted citing bad/no internet.

So you don't have to worry about .

CUET UG 2022 is a Computer Based Test and you have to appear for the test in the designated examination center where you will be provided with a desktop to take the test. It is not a remote proctored exam so you do not need mobile phone or laptop. The exam pattern is as follows

• Language of Test: Assamese, Bengali, English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odiya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu (Student can select one regional language and English is the default language)
• Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions
• Exam will be conducted in two slots. Slot 1 will be conducted from 9 AM to 12:15 PM. Slot 2 will be conducted from 3 PM to 6:45 PM.
• There are 4 sections

1. Section IA - 13 Languages (As a medium and “Language”)
2. Section IB - 20 Languages
3. Section II - 27 Domain Specific Subjects
4. Section III - General Test

A candidate can choose any Language/Domain specific Subjects/ General Test or a combination as per the admission requirements specified for the course of the preferred University while applying. It is not mandatory to choose any one or more of the Tests/Subjects stated above. The choice of Tests/Subjects depends on the course opted by the candidate and the University where the candidate is seeking admission.
