No, You do not have to install any app in your mobile phone if you are using Android mobile as secondary device it should have a front-facing camera and minimum OS version of Android 8 or above and it must have Chrome browser version 80 or above or Edge

As per the code of conduct published by the LOYOLA JUNIOR COLLEGE there are no such restriction with mobile phones in hostel.
