If you want to opt for M.Tech in GIS, MNNIT Allahabad can be a very good option. The placement is also quite good with many alumni working in companies like L&T, ISRO etc. According to the students, the minimum package is somewhere around 5 LPA, which is a good amount given this field. However I would recommend that if you get a chance, you should go to IIRS Dehradun for the same course as it has facilities better than MNNIT and the placements are also great.
Hope I have answered your question. All the best!
Hi
Your profile suggests that your home state is UP
Making prediction is difficult as cutoff depends upon various factors like :-
-----------) number of students/ candidates that appeared in the jee main exam,
-----------) number of available seats,
-----------) jee main examination difficulty level.

Dear Applicant the regular admission procedure into M.Tech courses is through the GATE Examination. Now there are few Institutions like Manipal Institute, BITS Pilani, BIT Mesra, Chandigarh University, they conduct their own entrance for admission into M.Tech courses. Now if your college allows you to take direct admission into M.Tech Environment Science course then that is great because generally you need to appear in GATE Examination to be able to take admission.
Good luck!!!!
Hello Abhishek
There is no such B.tech Course is available at MNNIT which is of 5 year. and according various NIT government colleges B.Tech Courses are of only 4 years in all over India. and to taker admission in these colleges you have to sit in JEE MAINS and Advance entrance exam.

MNNIT allahabad and iiit allahabad both provide top placements especially in cse stream for mnnit allahabad in 2021 average package for cse was 19.08 lakhs and highest was 51.75 lakhs for 2020 it was 18.02 lakhs average and 39.022 lakhs highest on the other hand iiit allahabad official website does not tell specifically about cse stream but the overall stats are
MNNIT allahabad is a great college and getting a cse seat here is a dream come true for many aspirants thanks to the excellent coding culture here and pay packages that are breaching half a crore mark here but the cutoffs are equally high for general category student anything less than 99.6 percentile may not suffice but for a reserved category student some relaxation is there although in spite of it a percentile of about 99 is required so work hard and you can refer to the following college predictor link
