It is an old institution and more reputed one. It considers COMEDK and CET scores for merit based seats.
MSR :
this university is newly opened. They have their own curriculum. It considers comedk-unigauge and cet scores for merit based seats.

According to the The extended round of tue counselling session for the year 2018, the cutoff rank was 1145 for CSE branch at MS RAMAIAH University.

as per your rank you have channces of gettong electronics for EEE course previous years cutoff goes 2600 and for ECE it goes 3553 so you have chances you should apply in its councelling
